In this life friends can be chosen,
Like partners we get involved in.
Family though is what were born into,
People GOD has gifted us to.
Parents cherish their children,
They're simply gifts from heaven.
No matter what they have become,
The love they have is close to none.
Family sticks through thick and thin,
Obstacles are conquered within.
That is why I cherish mine,
Now and 'til the end of time.
